MTA/CLAINCELL’s proprietary NCM460 and NCM356 cell lines are made available through two mechanisms:
Materials Transfer Agreement Academic investigators and non-profit institutions may obtain the cells at no charge through a Materials Transfer Agreement (MTA). The MTA is a collaborative agreement that allows investigators to utilize the cell lines and receive a 20% discount for INCELL media. Please e-mail mtacla@incell.com for a standard copy of the agreement as a word document. Your institution’s Technology Transfer Office can assist with reviewing the terms of the agreement as well as obtaining appropriate signatures. The agreement has a term of three (3) years, with annual status reports due each year, by the anniversary of the final signature. A copy of any resultant publications from the use of the cell lines must also be forwarded to INCELL. Cell Licensing Agreement Cell Medium In order to maintain their phenotypic characteristics, the NCM460 and NCM356 cell lines must be maintained with M3™ medium, or one of its formulations, purchased from INCELL. Once an agreement is in place, INCELL will provide one vial of frozen cells and a 100ml sample bottle of M3™ medium at no cost, but we ask that you pay shipping expenses. For longer studies, additional medium may be ordered from INCELL.
All shipments are made from our headquarters in San Antonio, TX, USA. Cells are usually shipped within 24-36 hours of approval of your MTA or CLA. They will be sent frozen on dry ice via FedEx Overnight Priority, and customer’s FedEx account number will be charged when INCELL prepares the waybill.
