Special Order Media
M3™Base medium contains
a formula with proprietary
growth factor, but no Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). INCELL can
formulate media with and without antibiotics. INCELL's
specialty media can be used to grow normal epithelial cells (M3:2™),
pancreatic islet cells (M3:5™), bone marrow
lymphoid, or mesenchymal cells (M3:20™), and pre-adipocytes
(M3:30™). Or... if you want a chemically-defined
medium that is part of the M3™family, try INCELL's M3D and
add known supplement.
Due to production time and specifications, our
specialty media are only available for orders of 3L or more.
Bulk discounts may be available for quantities over 3L. May

M3:2
Description: A derivative of M3™base, M3:2™ contains a proprietary formulation, growth factors, 2% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) and antibiotics* unless otherwise specified. M3:2™ is commonly used to grow epithelial cells where higher concentrations of serum factors are inhibitory or detrimental to growth. M3:2™can support growth of embryonic and adult stem cells, many types of tumor cells, and can be added to standard cell lines to improve growth and expression of differentiation and/or organotypic genes. M3:2™ is also available by special order without Antibiotics (F), or with Gentamycin only (G).
