Cell Culture Development and Maintenance
Primary Cell Development
Cell culture, Large Scale Expansion
Cell Line Banks: Master Cell Banks & Working Cell Banks Description: Cells will be amplified in culture to create a master cell bank (MCB) of 20 cryovials of cells in log phase at one passage number. Amplification of the cell line will be continued until enough cells are available at the same passage number for a working cell bank (WCB) consisting of 200 cryovials.
Cryopreservation Description: Cells in log phase will be cryo-preserved at 106 cells/ml in CPZTM. Cryopreservation allows cell lines to be banked for further experiments at a later date. Also, cryopreservation can be a guard against accidental loss of cells in culture due to contamination or mechanical difficulties. Primary Cells and Cell Lines
Storage Description: Cells are stored in a cell bank inventory system at ultra low temperatures (-135 C).
Immortalization EBV Immortalization of Human Lymphocytes Description: Human peripheral blood lymphocytes are immortalized by incubation in B95-8 derived Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and cultured in Incell's immortalization medium according to published procedures.
Cell Cloning Description: Cells are cloned by limiting dilution. Cell cloning (96 well plate) and transfer to a 24 well isolates and preserves a specific cell type and its specialized properties.
Prices include cost of performing assays only. Additional charges for set-up and analysis will be incurred depending on scope of project. Size and price vary. Call for further information. |
