Storage of Cell & Tissue Products
INCELL Banking. INCELL is a registered Tissue Bank to store human cells and tissues. INCELL has deep expertise applicable to the formulation and cryostorage of cells and tissues to maintain high quality of the cell and/or tissue products and the cell or tissue factors and components being stored.
Storage is done for individual patients, academic and industry customers. Storage costs are determined based on type of product being stored, time for storage, storage conditions, packaging and numbers of units.
Cells and tissues are processed and manufactured for potential autologous or family donor use or for the development of allogeneic products. The processing and manufacturing uses INCELL’s expertise and its proprietary methods, medias and solutions. Protective crystalloids and formulations are used to maintain product quality and biological properties under the product-appropriate storage conditions. These can include ultracold cryostorage at -150°C or lower (e.g., the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen), cold frozen storage (at -80°C to -20°C) or room temperature storage.
Patients who are organizing and managing their own tissue storage should link to the patients section for more information and documents.
Customer Banking. For general cell or tissue cryopreservation and banking INCELL recommends its chemically defined family of animal component-free EZ-CPZ™ medias or its highly enriched CPZ™ media.
